Reviews From Clients

We do not design our material for "professionals", we make the information easy to understand and user-friendly. We strongly encourage our students to submit reviews and feedback on our material; this is how we provide the easiest learning platform on the market.  Here's what some previous students say:

Heather H.  5 stars

"Seriously, your program could not be any better; I studied for 5 days including your class and passed on the first try with an 88%, thank you so much.  I thought this was going to be a difficult exam, but the way you guys teach it, I felt like an expert after 2 days of class."

John S.  5 stars

"I just wanted to thank you for the great job you did in preparing me for my state Insurance test. I could not have passed the test without your expert guidance and web site to practice for the exam. In the 4 days I had to practice before my exam I did 12 exams plus 2 expert exams. I reached an 84 than moved to the expert exams and scored 74 and 78!!! This made me feel extremely confident for my test on April 10th. I scored a 89% on my test and finished in 1 hour and 20 minutes"

Burton F.  5 stars

"Hello Joe, I just wanted to inform you that I passes the test with a 97%.  Thank you for your efforts as our instructor, I couldn't have done it without you.  Your method of teaching really fits with my learning style, the test was really easy, all I had to do was remember what you said.  Thanks again."

How to Set Up an LLC in Texas

  1. Visit:  https://direct.sos.state.tx.us/acct/acct-subscribe.asp  and enter your name and information to create an account.  Follow the steps and then check your e-mail.

  2. Visit the link in your e-mail or go to https://direct.sos.state.tx.us/acct/acct-login.asp  to log into your account.

  3. When you log in, enter the credit card information you wish to use to set up your LLC. (Cost is $300, paid later in the steps).

  4. Then click the dropdown under Web Filings and select Domestic Limited Liability LLC and click File Document

Select Certificate of Formation and click Continue

  5. llc
  6. Select Certificate of Formation and click Continue

  7. Type in your Business Name, make sure it is unique and does not conflict with another business, then click Continue

  8. Type in your information as the registered agent and your address then click continue

  9. On this screen you want to select the SECOND bubble that says “Member Managed”.  This means you do not have a passive investor funding your business and that you are in charge of the day-to-day operations.  Add your name and address, then move on to the next screen.

  10. Follow the prompts, enter your name and address.  Then on the signature page, enter your name and do not enter a date.  It will automatically use todays date.

  11. Click continue, then review your document, then submit filing.  (Your card will be charged $300 now)

  12. You will receive an e-mail either today or the next business day confirming or modifying your formation.

  13. Visit:  http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small-Businesses-&-Self-Employed/Apply-for-an-Employer-Identification-Number-(EIN)-Online   and setup an EIN.  This must be done during Monday through Friday.  The link to apply is at the bottom of the page, where it says APPLY NOW.  Follow the directions.

    1. An EIN is your Tax-ID number.  You will need this to establish a bank account and do business.

    2. When you file your taxes, you will file personal income taxes and use a Schedule C as self employed income.  It is a very easy thing to do.

  14. Now go to the bank with your Certificate of Formation and your EIN, then setup a bank account (we prefer Chase).
  15. Congratulations, you have an LLC!
